  • Summary: Hoggy is a fun puzzle platformer that combines the best elements of classic side-scrolling video games with a unique puzzle flavor!

You control Hoggy. Your girlfriend has been kidnapped by the moon men, and the only way to get her back is to eat all the fruit out of 45 crazy jar-worlds!

The game has simple controls. Tip your iPhone to move Hoggy left or right, and touch the screen to reverse his gravity.

Use your reflexes to grab all the fruit in each level, and use your mind to force your enemies to grab the fruit you can't reach!

It's a great retro-arcade experience! If you love side scrollers and arcade action, you'll love Hoggy!

To keep it short and simple: Fun, cute, idea. But the final boss mission was a challenge too much, and I kept experiencing a glitch (both on purpose and not on purpose) where the game would freeze and I would have to restart the whole level over again, not to mention I've accidentally gotten to the very end and with my adrenaline running and my mind raging, I accidentally hit "Leave Jar" only to have to complete the whole level again. I wouldn't mind this if it took my 5-20 tries to get to where I was but it took me around 50+ and I just never could find a replay value after completing it considering I didn't know how to go back to previous levels. Some of the levels required me to be quick and agile with my tilt sensitive iPhone and like all my other reviews (referring to using tilt as controls)... I hate tilt sensitive controls especially when under pressure. It's definitely worth it's price. Expand
