Jack Lumber is a mythic, larger-than-life character who could be the App Store's modern-day Paul Bunyan.
Jack Lumber is a simple game but it works and it's fun and entertaining, so it's pretty much everything we can ask for. This universal app for both iPod/iPhone and iPad will definitely keep you playing, even though maybe for a slightly short time.
I'm still sitting here bleary-eyed, blister on my finger, totally satisfied for having played this game way past the time I should be in bed.
Not without its merits, Jack Lumber is a decent line drawer, but it never manages to spark into life.
It's kinda like Fruit Ninja with bullet time, oh and you're taking revenge on the trees that killed your granny. Make of that what you will.
Jack Lumber evolves the slashing formula of titles like Fruit Ninja by adding a bit of finesse. Similarly to the food-slashing game, logs will fly onto the screen and it's your job to hack them into pieces.
