Jelly Splash is sure to find an audience, especially for those who have sworn off Candy Crush Saga because they can't get past that one level. It's enjoyable to play and a pleasure to look at, but chances are you'll run into a similar problem, either forking over some cash or waiting that 25-minute period. Bring your skills, and maybe a little patience.
Jelly Splash is quite the fun puzzler thanks to level variety and its strategic turn limits, making it well worth a download even for fans who have grown tired of match-3 puzzle games.
With a real lack of twists to the formulaic gameplay, not to mention a lack of real content overall besides that which is simply repeated to feign substance, Jelly Splash ends up being an unfortunate sticky mess that you’ll want to clean off your kitchen counter, rather than a delicious experience that you’ll want to eat between two slices of bread.
Making a tiny 'splish' on the App Store, rather than an almighty 'splash', Jelly Splash is a slightly novel entry in a very familiar puzzle sub-genre.
It might be briefly fun but Jelly Splash is an idea that we've all seen a few too many times.
