It's easy to learn, it's got a sexy design, and it's entertaining alone and with friends. Without a doubt, this has been one of the best iPhone games I've come across so far.
Even as nothing more than a gimped-but-free distraction, Kard Combat is still a lot of fun.
As a fan of battling card games like Magic: The Gathering and Shadow Era, Kard Combat scratched my card-fighting itch sublimely. The game is simple enough that anyone can pick it up, yet deep enough that a tougher opponent can really test your skills.
Simple but smart card battle game with a great pace. I just wish there was a function to modify the decks.
Until Magic: The Gathering comes to iPhone, Kard Combat will rule the dark magic roost, with hours of single-player card battling action and wonderful multiplayer options.
The most fun you can have battling with cards, short of whipping them at each other.
But looks aren't everything, and thankfully Kard Combat makes up for its weak points with a great personality.
