Kibosh is a strategic board game where the goal is to place as many of your pieces on the board while trying to block your opponent.
The person with the highest score wins.
It is similar to the boardgame Blokus.
Kibosh supports the following game modes
- player vs computer
- pass-n-play 2 players
- pass-n-play 4 players
The following options can be adjusted.
- starting position
- time limit
- game mode
- Computer difficulty setting (easy, medium, hard)
The games starts by randomizing the starting player and the starting point on the board. Each piece must be placed touching another piece of the same color but only on the corners. You can remove an opponents piece from the board if you block the majority of their diagonals with your own pieces. The game continues until no more pieces can be played or the time has run out.
In Kibosh, pieces can also be removed from the board by blocking the majority of a piece's playable diagonals. This, in addition to the random starting position, adds a twist to the original and makes for more challenging gameplay.
