King Oddball is a nearly perfect gameplay experience, with just the right level of strange to remain memorable. I would call it the new Angry Birds, but it's more than that: it's the new King Oddball.

If you like physics-based games, this is one for the books. It is strange and interesting. The puzzles are not too difficult, but have just enough challenge to make things interesting. Pick this game up for a tongue-lashing good time.

Ultimately though, King Oddball is sufficiently enjoyable that any other purpose isn't really needed. It's simplistic to a near fault (right down to the lack of any proper menus) but when it's this much fun, who cares?

While it might not be the most innovative or original game in the world, King Oddball is still an awful lot of fun.
