A spirited platformer that shouldn't be missed by fans of the genre. Fire it up, lean back, and let yourself drift.

Featuring much improved controls and a more robust story, Lost Winds 2 is everything we could have hoped it would be.

LostWinds2: Winter of the Melodias is a beautifully presented bit of childlike magic and irrefutable proof that wholesomeness does not necessarily have to be boring.

Winter of the Melodias adds some fiendishly clever new ideas to LostWinds, without spoiling that sense of quiet discovery and childlike wonder.

An excellent sequel and a great adaptation. It is very conservative as a follow-up of the original despite its gameplay enhancements, but it is very enjoyable and this iOS version is a great chance to play it for an affordable price.

LostWinds 2: Winter of the Melodias offers a varied and beautiful game world, never frustrating puzzles and a smart way to take advantage of touch controls.

Lostwinds 2 evolves the enjoyable formula of the first chapter introducing better controls and graphics. There's still something that doesn't work, sometimes, with the touch screen and the frequent backtracking could not be appreciated by someone, but the game is still delightful, simple and poetic like a little fairy tale.

LostWinds2 is remarkably well-suited for iOS, and the game remains as nice and fresh as it was in the Wii.

I can't stress enough just how intriguing the puzzles in Winter of the Melodias can be. It's a thoroughly enthralling and totally gorgeous adventure. It's not perfect, but it's absolutely worth it for fans of the original and the genre in general.

This charming adventure still is fascinating – although the fun gets spoiled by framerate problems and the undemanding action.

An ideal example of a game that rises above the sum of its parts. Its problems can't be ignored, but the its highs are so much higher than its lows. The game - like Toku - is a mischievous scamp whose faults are not its undoing. And when all's said and done, there's such a strong puzzle platformer here that it's hard to stay mad for too long.

A relatively successful attempt to liven up a (still) mediocre game.
