    And aside from its extremely derivative nature, this is an excellent collectible card battle game, particularly for gamers who have a taste for superheroes in general and the Marvel Universe in particular.

    There's a great deal to do in Marvel War of Heroes, and while it doesn't quite cause a revolution in the genre, Mobage can only be accused of giving gamers exactly what they want with a few new twists.

    If you know your Stan Lee from your Stanley Carter, there's a lot to like in the collection of these beautiful cards, and the math grinding will appeal to the Excel-obsessed. But those looking for an accessible battler will be best served elsewhere.

    The developers who brought you Rage of Bahamut give that game a Marvel spin, providing the same addicting gameplay and the same rough execution that doesn't seem as fun the second time around.
