To be honest, if not for Mega Run's bargain price of free, this app would not have found its way onto my iTouch. But I'm glad it did. The simple plat-former brings back fond memories of the original Mario. Gameplay is simple and addictive, yet it still retains a degree of challenge. Its short stages are perfect for bus rides or TV commercial breaks. Each level grants the player a 1-3 star rating in addition to the challenge of collecting three hidden "Forest Gems." There is also a leveling system that unlocks new playable characters and powerups to ensure replayability. Stages are constructed into separate segments of "track." Each time a stage is played, the order of the track segments is randomized to add a small sense of variability. The game fully playable without the need for IAPs, and the devs promise additional content soon. This is definitely an app worth checking out, regardless of age. Expand

Mega Run - Redford's Adventure is a very well done running platform game, rich in content, completely free and extremely addictive.

Mega Run is a lovely game that oozes charm and will delight players of all ages. Even if you think you can't possibly bear to play another screen-tapping automatic runner, we're pretty sure you'll fall in love with Redford's adventure regardless.

Mega Run is still a fantastic auto-runner though. The choice for set levels was an inspired one, and it will take plenty of time to play and master them all. The fact that it looks great and has cloud saving is just the cherry on top.
