If you download it expecting to be contented instead of wowed, your head is probably in the right place.

Megapolis has a touch more depth than the usual freemium builder titles, and is simply a wonderful world to be a part of.

I have played this game for about 6 months. It is entertaining, except when your assets disappear and you try to get it resolved through their customer service.....which is a joke. Unless you screen shot everything you do, you have no hope of resolution. Expand

This review is based on the Facebook version of the game. I like Sim City type games for building cities, infrastructure, economy, etc. This game is nothing like that! Like any "social" game you place items (buildings) and wait for their timers to finish to click on them, earn points to buy more items to place. Infrastructure is unnecessary at all, so why waste valuable space? After all you start looking for charts or create your own, which building does what profit per day, based on you online behaviour. The bad part starts with the game forcing you to spend money on "Quests" for an unknown reward, leaving you with crap you only sell for a fraction of your expenses (who needs decorations that offer nothing but waste of space if it's all about making points as fast as possible?). Premium content seems fair, most of it is "early access" to regular content. But who spends real money on "wages", allowing the NPCs do the clicking for you (the only regular interaction in this game)? Worst part for me was the need for begging your FB friends for resources (like in any other FB game), to build certain buildings. To be fair, you get a hand full on your (daily) visit in the game, but starting many of those buildings parallel leaves you with many construction sites, as resources come in slow and for the latest project first! If you don't have the FB friends to annoy with stupid requests, this game is not worth playing! Expand
