The game has a colorful animated look to it and the presentation is nice, so if you think that this sort of game may appeal to you, you'll enjoy your initial time with it.

Mobfish Hunter takes obvious inspiration from Ridiculous Fishing, but differentiates itself in couple of key ways - though not always to its advantage.

The game's drawn-out progression could be attributed to it being a free-to-play game, as a way of encouraging player to dip into their wallets and speed up the process. But Mobfish Hunter's monotony lacks the unique hook necessary to catch players for the long haul.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Well this is an interesting app. Its part fun fishing game, part captain planet episode. I can see some big things with this, maybe they can add a story mode and the normal mode. The story can involve your hero first trying to make his way as a hunter and the missions could be kill X amount of mobfish with 3 normal mines, or kill x mobfish with the spiker's spikes. And the farther you go in the missions the more you find out about the mobfish and how they formed.

Now for the pros and cons
Pros: fun time waister, great design, intersting story(ish)
Cons: lack of story mode, the mine counter takes too long, takes a lot of coins to upgrade something
