    There's a surprising amount of strategic depth to be found, and there's no greater joy than waiting until my opponents have ordered all their troops away from a base, then striking with a massive squadron of helicopters to steal everything the poor fools ever knew or loved.

    Modern Conflict HD is an energetic and addictive game that redefines the RTS label by eliminating the mundane tasks of resource management and thrusting you into the heat of battle.

    What compensates for the limited RTS features in Modern Conflict is the level of presentation. Although the animations are sparse, the menus, tutorials and visuals are very polished.

    Modern Conflict HD is a basic game that will surely suit some players' tastes, but taken as a whole it's rather bland. I'd rather be playing Galcon.
