Despite its flaws, Monster Adventures is one of the catchiest Pokemon wannabes you'll find on the market right now. The gameplay is addictive and will keep you battling for hours on end, and the multiplayer component will draw you in even further. If you're Pokemon-ed out, then you gotta catch this.
Monster Adventures is a great action-RPG that you simply need to check out.
Monster Adventures mashes up different genres to give you a compelling and seemingly fresh experience each time you play.
No stranger to mixing game types to garner unique and interesting results, Foursaken infuses elements of roguelikes, creature collectors, RPGs, and adventures to create a compelling offering.
Despite these problems, Monster Adventures is a lovely adventure title with some big ideas. If monster collecting and roguelike adventures are your bag, this is one to tame. Just take it slow and easy at first.
Running about smashing things with your creature is fun for a bit, and the experience grind loop is certainly powerful here, but otherwise it's a pretty standard dungeon-crawler.
Monster Adventures is overbearing, and convoluted at times with all of these extras that try to mask a relatively bland, and uninteresting gameplay style.
