    I imagine some folks may complain that Monster Wars feels too much like its precursor without much of a change to the core gameplay. I say, why mess with a good thing? While the game does feel like a re-skin at times, Monster Wars still does a great job taking the classic gameplay from Legendary and transplanting it in a new setting.

    A head-to-head castle defense game with a lot of unit options, RPG upgrade mechanics, hack and slash segments, and plenty of modes. The long standing issues of the genre are not addressed here, but fans should be more than happy.

    Monster Wars is a dark clone of Legendary Wars, so it's funny and full of strategic and RPG elements. However, it's not a real sequel, but something like a parallel project without really original content.
