Neuroshima Hex mixes classic board gaming with Borderlands, and it works. This is an awesome board game conversion with excellent touch mechanics. But be prepared for a very steep learning curve in this Polish strategy title. The reward of learning the rules though is an absolute brilliant pass and play experience on iOS.

Despite the promising elements of multiple warring factions, a variety of tile types, and quick-paced play, our ability to truly enjoy the fruits of this game were a bit constrained until we played a number of games and gained a clearer understanding of the seemingly confusing gameplay.

A faithful replication of a mentally taxing strategy board game, Neuroshima Hex is limited by its small selection of gameplay modes but offers an engrossing and complex multiplayer experience.
