When you take the sum of all the great things that Nimble Quest does, you end up with an excellent casual title that’s easily approachable while having just enough strategy elements to want to keep you coming back to beat your high score one more time.

Nimble Quest nails the classic arcade experience, while providing fresh flair perfectly suited for iOS.

Now add colorful retro-inspired visuals and music that would have fit right in with the best games from the 90s, and Nimble Quest is another quality addition to NimbleBit's growing smartphone and tablet library.

While nothing too deep, Nimble Quest is a lot of fun as its throwing RPG upgrade elements onto the game of Snake, which everyone should be all too familiar with.

If you enjoyed Snake, you’ll probably enjoy this-- maybe even more.
  6. Apr 13, 2013
Nimble Quest is a cute little game, but that's about it: it lacks the sheer originality and refined gameplay of Nimblebit's previous titles, and therefore is a game you might put down way too soon.
  7. Apr 3, 2013
Nimble Quest is cute and compelling, but it’s also a cynical complication of a classic design.

This is an excellent small game that can provide lots of fun on the go: likely inspired by old games like Snake and Nibbler, one of my personal old favorites, we have to lead our troupe of heroes across different levels infested by hordes of cute little enemies.
Hectic action and a few but well designed power-ups make for a really entertaining experience. Highly recommended.
