Skruff, the streetwise dog, is always at hand as a cheeky companion. The player is engaged in a race against the clock to help Skruff learn math by rearranging as well as dragging and dropping numbers into their correct positions. This places students directly in the driving seat and allows them to figure things out on their own, rather than spoon-feeding them information. We’ve made it easy for kids to interact with symbols in order to play with Math itself. They can then observe the results of their actions immediately. Kids learn from this instant feedback and gain the satisfaction of figuring it all out on their own.For parents we provide regular email reports detailing their child's progress in the game. Our emails also contain helpful hints on using games at home to reinforce the concepts that the child has already learned.Features:Numerosity includes all the things that helped us, as children, succeed in math and even come to love it:- Positive reinforcement.- Levels that allow the player to build on their previous success.- Recognizing that math is a game that challenges the player with increasingly difficult puzzles.- Friendly competition.- Realizing “I can do this!” by starting from very simple concepts and gradually building up.We’ve removed all the negative barriers to math success:- Our software is “patient” and moves at the right speed for each individual player.- We don’t teach to a test.- We encourage experimentation and exploration.
