***Featured in Wired Magazine, the BBC, The Guardian and all over the web, Papa Sangre is one of the most eagerly-awaited iOS games of the year***

YOU ARE LOST, DEEP IN THE DARKNESS OF THE LAND OF THE DEAD ...

    • Explore an entire world created in real-time using incredibly realistic 3D binaural audio
    • "See" with your ears — we'll teach you how, and then it's up to you to survive …
    • Turn, walk and run using a beautiful, intuitive interface
    • Escape back to the land of the living without getting eaten … or worse!
    • Solve Papa Sangre's puzzles and dilemmas
    • A fully accessible game, tested by the RNIB.

You’re in Papa Sangre’s palace. His palace is in an afterlife that takes the form of a malevolent, unpredictable carnival: imagine a Mexican graveyard on the Day of the Dead — with the lights off. You’re the piñata for a host of partying monsters. They probably look a lot worse than they sound. You should count yourself lucky it’s too dark to see them.

Your eyes are useless to you here — but your ears are filled with sound. And what is it you can hear … ? All you know is the soul of someone you love is in grave danger and desperately needs your help. Can you save them and make your escape or will you be trapped in the blackness forever?

Papa Sangre is a true breakthrough in mobile games, created by an amazing team of designers and technologists in California and London.

"Terrifying … I'm sure Papa Sangre will be a hit" — The Guardian

The monster that's unseen is far worse than anything that could be legitimately shown on screen and far more realistic too; Papa Sangre makes use of this 'theater of the mind' to create an immersive and chilling survival title.

Papa Sangre is a great experiment that can frighten the player without the use of images. During the night, in the dark and while in bed, the game is absolutely scary. Probably an idea like this could have been explored more and better, and there are no reasons to replay the adventure a second time. Maybe the price can seem a little high for some users, and the lack of an Italian translation is an obstacle for many. Anyway, if you are looking for a really creepy and fresh experience you should buy Papa Sangre with closed eyes. Literally.

Papa Sangre may not completely knock your socks off with the fun factor, but it's still well worth checking out for the wholly innovative and inspired "ear-opening" experience.

For a while, Papa Sangre is a wonderful novelty. Unfortunately, the further you get, the more trial-and-error annoyance starts to put a crimp on your enjoyment.

A great horror game, and a outstanding new idea. The binaural sound makes you really imerse into this world. The narrator gets its job done and frequently has dubius positioning (is she really a friend)? Expand
