I really can’t say enough good things about this game. It’s hard as nails, immensely satisfying, and just plain fun.
I highly recommend checking out Piloteer if you’re a fan of Trebella’s work, or just enjoy hysterical rag-doll physics games.
Piloteer is like trying to teach an octopus with an inner ear problem how to fly a helicopter, and I absolutely love it.
Each person who plays Piloteer will quickly do one of two things: They’ll either work very hard at perfecting the nuances of the game’s flight physics (an endeavor that takes a lot of practice), or they’ll laugh at the titular piloteer bashing her head against the park bench a few times, quickly get fed up with the game’s physics, and move on.
A bright and silly jetpack sim, Piloteer is a bit of an acquired taste, but once you get there, it's a lot of fun.
Piloteer creates an atmosphere of challenge that keeps you engaged like watching a car crash on repeat that makes it well worth picking up.
