An art style similar to the one found in ngmoco's Rolando gives Plunderland an aesthetically pleasing visual style, and a dynamic physics system makes ship battles on stormy seas a ton of fun.
Beyond the gameplay, the real reason to buy Plunderland is for the striking simplicity.
Plunderland is energetic pirating at your fingertips, a high seas adventure with charm and originality.
Full of humour and action, Plunderland is a successfull example of simple mechanics implemented in a really good way. Every flaw will be fixed by the forthcoming update, with new levels and game modes. At the beginning it's not so easy to say why Plunderland is so special, but once you are at the helm it will be really hard to come back on dry land.
Let your inner madman have his release and set him loose in the world of Plunderland, where monsters roam and pirates are free to blow up everything in their path.
With iPhone games, it's the absolute minimum requirement to get the controls right, but in that regard Plunderland fails. And considering that it seems to get everything else right, that's a big shame.
