May 8, 2014This is a faithful implementation of the highly rated original boardgame. You are in charge of a plantation in Puerto Rico and want to win the game by gaining as many victory points as possible. They are earned by selling and shipping goods or by obtaining buildings. The game is very deep and demands strategic and tactical decisions from the player. There is no one-fits-all strategy to "solve" it and the replay value is very high.
The tutorial leads you through your first game and in-game advises are always available in case you wonder what to do next. While getting started is easy, mastering the game is not and you will lose a lot of games until you know what to do unless you already know the board-game.
The last update provided better graphics and made the the game look better. Highly recommended if you like this kind of games!… Expand
