  • Summary: Q-Puzzle is a fun, quick puzzle game using beautiful photos included in the app or photos from your own albums. The game uses a simple, delightful interface with different levels which can entertain all age groups including children. It helps to stimulate your hand to eye coordination, improve memory and brain function. Q-Puzzle was designed to break a photo image into small square pieces, and shuffle them such that the original photo becomes unrecognizable. The primary goal of the game is to continue swapping two pieces at a time until the original photo is restored. The iPhone has a smaller screen and lower resolution, and is not easy to play when a puzzle has many pieces. This app is designed to improve user's play puzzle experience on the iPhone. It will scramble only the middle part of the photo. In other words it keeps a sizable boundary of the photo with no change. This design makes it relatively easier to solve the puzzle near the boundary, and then move into middle part of the photo. The app is designed for mobility. In other words, you can stop playing the game at any time, and continue later without losing the game, which is great to entertain yourself while waiting for doctor’s appointment, or airline flight, for example. The app tracks any number of incomplete games, up to 100, which can continue to be played at any time, in any order. There are three difficulty levels. Each level contains several choices of complexities: Level-1: easy. At this level, puzzle can have 12 pieces, 20 pieces or 30 pieces. Level-2: medium. At this level, puzzle can have 48 pieces, ..., or 108 pieces. Level-3: difficult. At this level, puzzle can have 120 pieces, ..., or 192 pieces. When a puzzle has more than 100 pieces, it becomes difficult to play physically, due to smaller square size and a relatively large finger. To help users get around this constraint, we introduce a “finger” cursor. When it is in cursor mode, there is an indicator via a small arrow icon displayed on the right bottom screen, and when you touch the puzzle, a small finger is displayed, that points to the square piece your trying to move. You should move your finger below the square piece instead of touching the piece. This approach allows you to move the piece around to compare it with others to find its matching position. The difficulty of a puzzle depends also on type of photo itself. A puzzle created from a photo containing more similar objects is usually more difficult to solve. On the other hand, puzzles created from photos containing a simple structure are relatively easy to solve. The app calculates a score for each solved puzzle, a higher score for better performance. The formula of the score is designed so that when you play a more difficult puzzle, you gain a higher score. Also, less movements and less time spent to solve the puzzle grant a higher score. Main features of this app is: #1. It creates a puzzle in the center part of the photo, and leaves the sides of photo unchanged. #2. It locks pieces of the puzzle when they are solved so that user can avoid disturbing solved pieces accidentally. #3. It displays the original photo when you tap “Compare” tab. #4. It can show how many pieces haven't been resolved. #5. It saves puzzles played - solved or not solved. #6. 100 carefully selected beautiful photos are included to enhance players experience. #7. You can choose any photo from your own iPhone photo albums to create puzzle. #8. You can play puzzle in any short period of time and continue later without losing the game. *Note: - See help in the app for detail of features. - To find out more information of Q-Puzzle, goto WEB site: www.xfangapp.com Expand
