At $0.99, this is a no-brainer. With hundreds of thousands of apps on the market, it's not easy to find the high quality games like Raccoon Rising. The 60 different phases and high quality graphics will keep gamers playing Raccoon Rising for a while.

A neat variant on jumping games, which I'm throughly enjoying despite the jumping genre being so saturated.

A brilliantly built piece of platforming action, Raccoon Rising is definitely worth a look, even if you've never felt the need to fling an animal up a tree.

Featuring slick visuals, terrific one-touch controls, and a number of challenging level segments and boss battles, Raccoon Rising is not your typical high-rising.

Raccoon Rising doesn't feel like an essential part of the ascension platformer canon; the overall feel of the game and lacking features make it feel like it falls just short of what it needs to be a truly great game in its admittedly crowded genre.

Those who gel with the controls and gameplay of Raccoon Rising will find a rewarding platformer. Everyone else will find frustration and anger.

Raccoon Rising isn't a bad game, but it begins to feel bland as you carry on.
