While some will be disappointed that RAD Soldiers isn't about armed surfers from the early '90s, it's still a massively entertaining tactical violence simulator with plenty of humour and charm.

Even so, find some good friends to play with, and RAD Soldiers is a very well done and balanced strategy game on the go.

Overall, there is fun to be had here, however. Objectives exist in the capture of rockets, but most matches seem to exist merely to kill each other, whereby it offers many an option to the player.

RAD Soldiers is a very well executed touchscreen game, and will do a good job of scratching that turn-based itch while you're away from the meatier console and PC games in the genre. That said, we did find the objectives and locations just a little bit too repetitive.

RAD Soldiers delivers a fun, immediate but also deep strategic experience. The game offers both single player missions and an online multiplayer mode that will keep you entertained for a long time.

RAD Soldiers still offers smooth tactical action for the wartime enthusiast, and the turn-based gameplay functions on a high level of strategy and fun. But the game's lack of inventiveness in level design fails to make the experience stand out from other tactical war games on the market.
