Seemingly exploitive level design and hair-pulling hazard placement aside, this title contains many of the basic elements that draw us to gaming in the first place, and puts them all in a package that is both wonderfully retro and satisfyingly modern. Good luck putting this one down – especially you old-school fanatics.

Random Runners isn’t the best endless runner out there, nor is it the worst. This running, gunning title manages to be average in virtually every area, making it neither a good purchase, nor a terrible one.
  3. Oct 18, 2013
Despite Ravenous Games' pedigree of solid releases, this endless running experience feels like it has a flat tire.
  4. Oct 13, 2013
Despite employing a similar art style as many of their other offerings, Random Runners fails to excite or intrigue us in any way.
  5. Oct 16, 2013
Despite a presentation that's right up Ravenous Games' alley, Random Runners gets nowhere fast due to its punishing level design and two-tier reward system. Hardcore gamers may feel right at home here, but others may want to stick to old-school platformers that give them a better chance at success. Ravenous' own League of Evil series certainly comes to mind.
  6. Oct 14, 2013
Random Runners doesn’t stand out in any regard, and while it’s not necessarily a bad game, it’s just not good making it one to skip.
  7. Oct 14, 2013
Random Runners adds nothing new to the auto-runner genre, except frustration, unfair design, and grinding for currency.
