"Real Soccer comes highly recommended to newcomers and diehard soccer fans alike." - AppModo
"Arguably one of the best iPhone games released this year, and certainly the best sports game" - MacWorld (4.5/5)

A feature that has become essential over the years in football games is the ability to edit your teams, transfer players so you can keep everything as up to date with real life. Gameloft don't fail here as you can change both the team and player names and make transfers yourself which is good, so 'London' becomes 'Arsenal' and 'Man Blu.'

For the fan, Real Football 2011 gives with one hand and takes away with the other. It ends up being balanced in their favour thanks to game options, but only just. For the casual player the latest update is just as playable as last year's game but with improved graphics and controls. Whether you go for this or FIFA 11 depends on how important the game options are when compared to FIFA's more realistic looking game.

The smartest looking entry in the series to date, Real Football 2011 loses its grip when it comes to actual gameplay, making matches less fluid in practice than they might look from the sidelines.

Real Soccer 2011 doesn't add much more than graphical advancements to its football franchise and while that may be enough for some it's a hard sell to those who already own earlier World Cup games from this year.
