    I haven't stopped playing the game for the last week but found it hard to decide whether this is solely due to the game in question or because I haven't played a game in this genre for some time.

    While the graphics and lighting are top notch, the rest of the game is a fairly generic dual-stick shooter – not that that's a bad thing.

    Revolt may not pack the best campaign, but it's more than your average twin-stick shooter and thanks to its upgrade system and random arenas you'll have a solid endless mode to look forward to as well.

    Overall I had fun with Revolt. It's not exactly groundbreaking, but it's a solid shooter that certainly provided plenty of fun and challenge.

    Repetitive levels and odd control choices threaten to shut Revolt down, but solid action and an attractive presentation keep it powered up.

    With so many good twin-stick shooters on the App Store, Revolt just can't stand out. The main problem is about the bad level design, with always the same locations and a repetitive single-player mode. The equipment is fully upgradeable, but, even if it has some golden times, the game will bore you really soon. Finally, different levels of difficulty and unlockable achievements are not enough to replay the game a second time.
