R.I.P. Rally combines arena-driving with some intense zombie-killing action. Players use a variety of weapons, including the vehicles themselves, to mow down the undead.
If running over and shooting zombies is your thing, RIP Rally will provide some amusement, but the grind soon becomes overbearing,
All in all it's good enough fun, but despite the variety of zombie behaviors on display in the game, RIP Rally does represent gaming at it's most primitive - and it's a bit of a one-trick pony. With all that said, the couple of hours you'll spend mowing down the undead are fun ones, and we'd encourage everyone to take this latest zombie shooter for at least one quick spin.
R.I.P. Rally is the newest zombie game that takes the shotgun out of the survivor’s hand and mounts it to the roof of his car.
There is very little reason to recommend R.I.P. Rally except for those who absolutely must have every game involving zombies. And even then, there are much better options out there.
While RIP Rally satisfies the basics of a twin stick shooter and does, at least, try to be a little different with the car theme, it simply falls down for being too drab and badly balanced. The handling and adverts just tip it over the 'do not buy' edge.
A bland and boring shooter with no surprises or fresh ideas within, R.I.P. Rally is an ugly shambles.
