For fans of the original, this is an automatic buy, and for anyone else who still enjoys an occasional round of DOOM on the go, Rise of the Triad is a nice alternative that may well be worth a look.
  2. Mar 3, 2011
For those that remember Rise of the Triad, this could be worth a purchase. For everyone else, the presentation, controls, and gameplay might be a turn-off.
  3. Mar 3, 2011
But the lack of a consistent style really hurts it and stopped me as a player becoming immersed and caring at all for the story and characters.
  4. Mar 4, 2011
ROTT is a long forgotten fast-paced FPS that is exploding with style, let down by a lazy port. Take the time to master the control scheme though and you'll find ROTT a lot of fun to play and jam-packed with innovative features.
  5. Mar 3, 2011
If you never played the game before, are looking for a classic FPS, and already have DOOM and Wolf 3D then you will have a lot of fun with this as well.
  6. Mar 3, 2011
Unless this game makes you nostalgic for an enchanted childhood, playing it on the iPhone is more likely to make your current life worse.
