While the omnipresent theme song may get a bit grating and it sadly lacks the multiplayer modes of the original Xbox version, Rocket Riot still serves up plenty of good, mindless, destructive fun and bizarre quirky charm. Warm up those jet-butts and check it out.

Shame about the loss of multiplayer, but for solo gamers Rocket Riot is a real blast - in bite-sized portions, at least.

Rocket Riot HD is a very stylized arena shooter, with fun presentation and tons of crazy power-ups. Unfortunately, the lack of multiplayer mode highlights the repetitive and unoriginal single-player levels.

Overall, Rocket Riot is a blast to play (quite literally), thanks to the range of fun power-ups, destructible levels and best of all, the eye-catching particle explosions and the banana with a rocket launcher!

Despite a few annoyances, Rocket Riot offers fast paced action with fun destructible envirnments.

Rocket Riot is a lot of fun but the controls hold it back.

It's cool while it lasts. Unfortunately, the lack of mission variety makes Rocket Riot a bit tedious, while the missing multiplayer mode is a real letdown. Had it come packaged with even local MP, we would've increased the score.

It feels like the twin-stick gameplay and graphics engine have been thrown together last minute, rather than building something more unique.

Featuring fully-destructible environments, unlimited ammo, and a bunch of interesting power-ups, Rocket Riot easily overcomes its quirky controls to provide a fun and exciting experience.

Yes, it's maybe just a little on the shallow side, and it has this annoying stash of red power-ups that you have to avoid because they leave you decidedly worse off for a while, oh, and it features boss battles, too. We honestly don't mind too much, though, because of the non-stop rocket action.
