Saving Yello successfully wraps quality graphics and sound, interesting gameplay, varied power-ups, decent game physics and a cute fish into this entertaining fish-flinging game.

Saving Yello is definitely an Angry Birds clone, but it also puts in some new elements, like power-ups and items you need to collect to get the three stars and unlock new locations.
  3. Dec 12, 2011
The obvious touchstone here is Angry Birds, but there's a neat element of strategy to each level that keeps everything from descending into a mere shoot-and-hope affair.

Saving Yello doesn't really do anything new or exciting as a physics puzzler. That said, what it does, it does very well. It's charming and fun and challenging and it looks absolutely magnificent.
  5. Nov 28, 2011
Saving Yello is a fun physics puzzle game in the style of Angry Birds. With plenty of destructive power-ups, and some amusing sound effects, this should keep many iOS gamers amused.
  6. Dec 7, 2011
A fun and great looking physics-based puzzler with tons of kooky charm.

Saving Yello is a solid entry in yes, quite the crowded genre, and while it's not essential, it does things differently enough to be worth a pickup for fans of the genre.
