After making good small mobile games like “The Flying Hamster” and “Sunflowers”, Game Atelier has started slowly publishing bigger and better quality games. And, “Sela The Space Pirate” could be the latest addition to their block buster list. The game can be downloaded from the Appstore. Download “Sela The Space Pirate” from the iTines.

Feili Chen, an indie developer, has developed
“Sela The Space Pirate”. Its a3D Space Shooting up game where this extraordinary Space Pirate “Sela” fights incredibly tough enemies (insect looking).

Feili Chen, an indie developer, has developed “Sela The Space Pirate”. Its a3D Space Shooting up game where this extraordinary Space Pirate “Sela” fights incredibly tough enemies (insect looking).

In the gameplay you are asked to help a young heroine (Sela) whose mission is to eliminate the deadly enemies and the mysterious “meteor”.

The game has altogether 30 levels which are full of surprises. You need to dodge enemy fire and eliminate them all, so that you can explode your personal score.

Prepare to destroy vermin in shambles and collect thousands of points which can be used to upgrade your ship and three formidable weapons. “Sela The Space Pirate” embraces a completely different design. But, even with a completely different style, it manages to create humor with funny comic strip style.

    Final Verdict:

It’s a very fast-paced shooting game, with huge bosses to face at the end of every level.

Despite an annoying story and unbearably loudmouthed characters, Sela the Space Pirate still managed to win me over with its great controls, fluid animations, and hectic space shooting gameplay.

A reasonably entertaining take on the bullet-hell genre, Sela The Space Pirate doesn't quite have the polish or the poise to compete with the best.
