Featuring a clever control system, terrific graphics, and a variety of missions, Smash Cops is a fun, albeit short, timewaster.
  2. Jan 31, 2012
Thanks to a brand new control system Smash Cops feels really good and reminds of the Criterion's games atmospheres.

An open-world battle racer with more crash-bang-wallop than a brass band in a bar-room brawl. It just needs a smidgen more dev to realise its full potential.
  4. Jan 23, 2012
Smash Cops should be given praise for trying something new in its control system and daring to be different with the camera angle.
  5. Jan 23, 2012
It's nice to see developers using touch controls in new and innovative ways, especially when it involves car chases, 360 degree burn-outs, ramming, and slow motion vehicle smashes.
  6. Jan 21, 2012
Smash Cops doesn't overstay its welcome by forcing players to deal with its limited variety in gameplay; thanks to this the game remains short, sharp and a fun way to blast away an hour or two.

If you've ever wanted to be a TV cop who acts with reckless disregard for civil society, all for the sake of catching the bad guys, this is your game.

Smash Cops is a cool action racer based around stopping fugitives by ramming them. It takes skill to master, and it is a real joy unlocking new cars and levels. The game could do with better music, or at least the option to use your own playlist. However, the excellent graphics, innovative controls and intense action still makes it an easy recommendation in my book.

Smash Cops is a fun and fresh driving experience, as it features some unique touch controls and a nice sense of impact. The game comes with a good number of missions and vehicles you have to unlock by gaining stars, and it will keep you entertained for a while.
