With more tricks than your average magician, Snowboard Hero offers frenetic fun on the slopes, held together by an intuitive career mode that keeps you on track from start to finish.

While not mind-blowing, Snowboard Hero can be a seriously fun way to kill some spare time as you perform crazy flips off the edge of snowy cliffs.

Snowboard Hero is a great first stab at Extreme sports for Fishlabs. A few things hold it back from being perfect, such as the lack of more advanced controls for seasoned gamers; an SSX-style free ski mode, no multiplayer for one-on-one racing, and the aforementioned character styling.

Snowboard Hero may not be SSX on the iPhone, but it's a quality snowboarding game with plenty of challenges.

Certainly Snowboard Hero isn't a perfect game, but it's a little title every SSX fan should have on the iPhone. The game provides a great variety of challenges and a lot of unlockable contents, but the lack of a multiplayer mode is its real weakness.

Although it's no SSX, Snowboard Heroes is still a solid iOS game and has enough to it to keep you busy for a lengthy period of time. Any snowboarding fan will especially enjoy being able to play something of this quality on the go.

With a graphical style akin to SSX and an easy control set, you won't mind extending the winter a bit to enjoy some powder-carving fun.

While the controls make handling your snowboard a breeze, executing the automated tricks becomes boring quickly in this lackluster simulator.
