Featuring pretty graphics and a ridiculous number of levels, Sporos’ main drawback is its lack of difficulty or challenge. Since it’s touted as a laid-back and relaxing puzzling experience, we cannot fault this oversimplified timewaster too much, though.

While the concept is not fully explored, Sporos delivers an engaging, original puzzle experience.

The game gives you literally hundreds of puzzles, so as long as you enjoy the puzzles you certainly get your money's worth here. If you like your puzzle games to be cerebral rather than reflex-based, it's worth checking out.

A generous, quietly entertaining puzzle game that's only slightly let down by a lack of variety and sedate difficulty curve.

Sporos is a pure puzzle game in the classical sense, with a simple rule set that quickly iterates and expands. It may not dazzle, and it’s easy to fall into a trial-and-error grind – but if you want a cerebral challenge, it’s as difficult as the limitations you place on yourself.

Sporos doesn’t do much new that I haven’t seen before, but it packs and presents the puzzles in a polished fashion. A great puzzler for relaxing in bed, or picking up for just a few minutes while waiting on the bus. Try the lite version first to get a feel for it.

Sporos intrigued me somewhat but unfortunately its too-basic premise left me wanting more from the game, and yet somehow also less from it.

Sporos is an inoffensive and mechanically sturdy puzzle machine.
