It's hard to hold back true classics and Streets of Rage 2 remains as challenging and fun to play as ever; a chance to cater to modern audiences has been missed, but at least you can still play with friend's in co-op mode.

The game holds up surprisingly well, a true testament to its greatness, but the lackluster audio and high price lessons the appeal.

Streets of Rage 2 is a well-crafted iPhone port, capturing the original gameplay well and offering Bluetooth multiplayer to boot.

Anyone who loves classic action games should play Streets of Rage 2. It's an amazing game, but Sega should update their emulator and get with the times.

The iOS controls simply do not work for this type of game. The D-Pad control leads to pain (suffer for your games!) and my fingers took up too much screen to see half of what was going on. It's a bad experience, one you should avoid.
