An experience caught perpetually somewhere between hypnotic and infuriating, which teaches you to appreciate all the "little wins" that occur as you game.

Super Hexagon is tough, and that is clearly its defining feature. If you aren't up for a game that will frustrate you, stay away. High score chasers will feel right at home, if not outright delighted with what this simple but infuriating title has to offer.

Frustratingly simple and addictive! this is up there with groove coaster as my favourite ios game.
Its hard at first, but becomes very satisf
ying when you get a decent time. Collapse
  2. VERY addicting and fun. I am almost finished with all the levels. The music in this game is godlike, controls are simple (albeit sometimes a bit wonky but you'll get the hang of it) and the game is VERY difficult.

    YOU MUST GET THIS GAME!

  3. It's a fun game. Super hard, but practice pays off as intended.

The game suffers from one major drawback though. There's no options that yo
u can tweak! The touchscreen controls much more jerkily than a keyboard, so this game becomes unnecessarily difficult on Droids/iPhones! And you can't adjust the sensitivity of the pointer either! Some keyboards are more jumpy than others, so I'd very much like the ability to change that. (I can't!) Expand
  4. I guess i missed something according to the hyped score here on metacritic. games that are frustrating to play dont always mean a bad game . A lot of the time you get enjoyment of achieving something after being bogged down. In this case the gameplay is very limited in turning the hexagon around and after having my game end in 10 seconds a couple of times had enough. Expand
