  • Summary: Set in Japan of ancient dark fairy tales, Tengami is an explorative adventure game full of wonder and mystery.

Looking at it as a conventional game, in other words, it's not terribly impressive – short, simple and perfectly linear. But as an interactive story, or perhaps more accurately a poem, it is superb.
  2. Feb 23, 2014
Tengami is an absolute masterpiece of game development that is an immersive experience that is not to be missed making it a must buy.
  3. Feb 20, 2014
Backed with some solid gameplay, I think Tengami more than proves itself worthy of a place in the adventure fan's library.
  4. Feb 21, 2014
If you can stand the slow pace and suffer through a few unfair puzzles, you’ll find Tengami’s breathtaking visual beauty and slick interface more than make up for any shortcomings.
  5. Mar 17, 2014
Shallow but with an incredible exterior. Get it for the views.
  6. Feb 25, 2014
There are moments of brilliance in Tengami, both in its wonderful origami visuals and some clever paper folding puzzles. But the plodding and confusion between those moments of brilliance undermine its splendour and the meditative tone the game tries to achieve.
  7. Feb 20, 2014
At its best, Tengami is something you want to freeze-frame and hang on the wall. For a video game, that shouldn't be taken as a compliment.

this game is totally amazing my three year old is blown away by the game, and my mom loves the music. I think its pretty interesting. it is what it is...a way above average popup book...like WAAAAAAAAAAY above. you can interact with it, there are a puzzles to solve. kind of weird when morons write a review and compare it to something like angry birds or GTA. its hard to believe some professional reviewers do that and then give it a bad review too.
