Tennis in the Face isn't another Angry Byrds' clone. The same concept but with a lot of original innovations, like the ball's physic and the explosives bonus. But, first of all, it's funny!

Deriving inspiration from games like Stupid Zombies and Bounce Bullet, Tennis in the Face serves to give gamers a less gory option in an increasingly crowded field.
  3. Jan 25, 2013
Tennis in the Face is one to play, and then replay for a higher score, and then replay for a different higher score, and then replay to serve tennis balls at the 10tons crew in the final level, as payback for all the hours you're bound to lose to this ace.

Levels are well designed, though the convoluted map screen feels like a forced error. [May 2013, p.87]

It’s got a few kinks that really need to be worked out, but over all Tennis in the Face is a great way to knock out some time, or some clowns, or some hipsters.
  6. Jan 25, 2013
Tennis in the Face is not about tennis at all. It has a crazy premise, but good level design and fun game play. It's a very easy and casual game to kill a few minutes with.
  7. Jan 29, 2013
A delightfully silly physics-puzzler that's slightly derivative but highly entertaining.
