Gameloft's pulled out all the stops this time, and the result is a masterpiece of an adventure game, one that combines the point-and-click adventure elements with the best uses of an iOS device's attributes.

Tintin provides a mesmerizing journey spanning many environments, with enough variety and humor to keep you engaged for hours.
  3. Dec 28, 2011
Providing a solid story, Pixar-style graphic quality, and a nice variety of gameplay mechanics, Tintin is an engaging experience that raises the bar for all others.

The Adventures of Tintin – The Game is an extremely enjoyable game that manages to combine multiple genres, yet never feels messy. It's just a shame about the number of game crashes.

The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn - The Game is an excellent action aventure title that combines good production values and varied gameplay.
  6. Nov 17, 2011
The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn is a pretty unique game that manages to both capture the spirit of the movie and provide a fun experience for gamers. What could have easily been another movie cash-in has turned out to be one of Gameloft's best games yet.

By far one of the most complete gameplay experiences you can find on iOS. It has drama, humour, action, stealth and a swearing captain. With a brilliant fluent mixture of gameplay elements, Gameloft takes my childhood hero into a new era.
  8. Dec 19, 2011
The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn was more than worth the wait thanks to clever and fresh gameplay that suits the theme of the franchise; being gorgeous to look at doesn't hurt either.

Some gameplay mechanics are a bit simple, but the adventure is consistently great. [Jan 2012, p.94]
  10. Nov 16, 2011
There's a lot of fun and variety to be enjoyed here, not mentioning the excellent design and graphics.
  11. Nov 7, 2011
A very competent tie-in dedicated to those who loved the movie, but also one of the best Gameloft adventures in recent history.
  12. Oct 27, 2011
One of the best film tie-ins for a long time, and one of Gameloft's strongest games this year, both fans and newcomers to the boy reporter's travels will find plenty to enjoy with this stylish adventure.
  13. Dec 28, 2011
Its high quality graphics are some of the best to come out recently in the iOS app scene. Unfortunately the infrequent crashes make this game frustrating and hard to play for an extended period of time. Overall, The Adventures of Tintin is something worth downloading, once Gameloft has fixed these bugs.
  14. Dec 16, 2011
The game is hardly longer than the movie, so, unless you're a hardcore Tintin fan, think twice before coughing up $6,99.
  15. Nov 26, 2011
But the delightful visuals, atmospheric sounds, excellent voice work and enthusiasm with which the whole thing has been put together manages to sweep away any of the ingrained cynicism toward movie tie-ins, and you're left satisfied and charmed by it.
