I think The Graveyard is a game that made me change my mind and shift my point of view about life. The game is a big experience of art and philosophy. I can't do any other score if it's not 10. People need to play this, cuz everyone needs to know how the life goes and how its significative to give a value to your life. I dont really get how people can say its a waste of time or money, cuz it was the best buy i've ever did. Thanks producers.
This game is fantastic, its 10 minutes of pure awesomeness! This is much more than a game, its art in its purest form. I believe no man is whole until the day he gets to play The Graveyard. 10/10
this is more than art this is a masterpiece. I will be telling my children and grandchildren about the wonderful game until the day i die. 10/10 amazing
Here's the entire experience you will have if you play The Graveyard: You hold "W" until the old lady limps her way to the bench in the middle of the graveyard, you'll see trees that are one giant flat picture of leaves, absolutely no 3-D quality to them, then you turn around and sit down, you listen to the ENTIRETY of some depressing German song about dying, and the old lady will probably die during this song, and then you have to minimize and right-click close the game, or use task manager. If you're lucky enough and she doesn't die, you walk back up the path you walked down, leave the graveyard and you're done.
Either way the game ends up going, it's extremely dull and I honestly feel sorry for anyone that has PAID for this. I can't believe it's actually $4.99, when I saw it in my library and even until recently I thought it was a free artsy indie game (like that's been becoming so popular nowadays), and honestly I love artsy indie games, but this one has literally nothing to show for. The graphics aren't even that good, which are the only stimulation you receive throughout your 10 minutes playing The Graveyard. So without good graphics, basically no gameplay, and a song that most people won't even like (which takes up half of the playtime), The Graveyard is just as boring as a graveyard. In fact, I'd rather actually go sit on a bench in a graveyard than play this game, because that way I'd at least get some fresh air.
You walk to a bench, sit down, listen to a song and die. Then the song ends and you find out you have to walk away to end the game. Too bad you died on the bench so... you can't walk away.
Therefore you have to Alt+F4 or Ctrl+Alt-Del the application.
So artsy.
I wouldn't call it a computer game, it's interactive-computer-art (Esther, Fatale, The Path etc.). Looks very nice, and nice song, but way too short. You've basically bought a postcard that has some movement and sound, but not much more. If I paid $1 for it, I'd be quite happy to have this in my collection and give it a higher rating of 6 or so. But for $5 on steam, that's an expensive postcard that was only bought as part of a bundle. Hence the very poor rating mainly on cost, all for just 10-15 minutes of viewing.
