Above all else though, The Hacker does a great job at making you feel like a bad ass international hacker, which is what it should really all be about anyway.

This creative puzzlegame is a brilliant example for great retro-feeling with simple means. As soon as you start the adventure the curtain rises and gives way to the world of retro computing including corrupt files and beeping soundfiles.

The difficulty level is a little inconsistent with some puzzles proving much harder than others despite being earlier in the game. Other than that, however, The Hacker is a great idea that stands out from the crowd. Mini games alone might have made for a mediocre title but with the backing of an original interface and storyline, The Hacker is well worth a look at a bargain price.

The Hacker offers a fun and intriguing fantasy "hacking" experience. Don't wait around for Angelia Jolie to make an appearance, though.
