It doesn't have quite the same emotional punch as Season One's lengthier story, but 400 Days does an admirable job with what it's given. If its purpose is to get us primed and ready for the second season, then mission accomplished.

Walking Dead 400 Days gives us more of a great thing that is actually amplified in the best regards making it a must have addition. You can fully enjoy 400 Days, even if you haven’t played the first five episodes, but if that is the case, it’s time to pick that up too.

For such a short experience, 400 Days packs an extraordinary punch. While I feel like I'll never bond with these characters the way I did with the likes of Clementine and Lee, this campaign provides me the potential to. Each character is likable in his own way, and each 10-minute story is full of suspense, heart-pounding moments, and the impossible decisions that The Walking Dead has thrived off of. It's amazing to see the transition of each character from their respective story to the group of the survivors in the epilogue, as you feel that the choices you made has made a clear impact on their survival tactics. Couple this with resonating choices from the original five episodes and the guarantee that these choices will impact future events, and you've got a standout add-on to an already incredible game. While it won't last more than an hour, it's one unforgettable ride that provides everything that I wanted and nothing more.
