  • Summary: This is the sequel to the original They Need To Be Fed, which received much acclaim. They Need To Be Fed 2 is bigger, better, full of new surprises but also "more of the same"!

They Need To Be Fed 2 is a weird world with man-eating plants, but it’s full of smart platforming action.

They Need To Be Fed 2 is familiar but worthy followup to They Need To Be Fed, and both are great little platformers. If you're new to the series, hop straight into the sequel. You won't be missing much that can't be found within. If you're already a fan, you know what to expect: the struggle, the achievement, the inevitable death. A hundred meaningful deaths or more, with hundreds of dangerous jumps in between.

It’s a sequel to the original gravity-based platformer, and it’s packed with new surprises and better gameplay to keep players stuck to their iOS devices.

A highly enjoyable bite-sized gravity based platformer in which the goal of each level is to feed your little character to a hungry carnivorous plant.

They Need To Be Fed 2 offers more of the same platform-physics action as its predecessor, albeit with a couple of tasty twists at the end. It's a shame you have to wait for the truly interesting stuff, though, and the game's controls never quite click as they should.

A level design and stylistic triumph but often a frustrating puzzler for the wrong reasons, They Need To Be Fed 2 is a good iOS game. But it could become a great game if it mimicked its hero and jumped to other platforms.

They Need To Be Fed 2 controls well and I enjoy its gravitational gameplay, but the uninspired level design and neutered challenge hold the overall experience back. The short, easy levels are perfect for that brief moment in line at the store, but the simple-yet-fun premise doesn’t evolve much beyond the first few introductory levels.
