    If you're seeking out a fantastic fighting game with precise controls and extremely deep gameplay then maybe you'd be better off with Street Fighter IV for the iOS. However, if you're a MK fan and want some of the brutal fun on-the-go, well EA have given me a million reason to recommend this as a brilliant option.

    If you're a fan of Mortal Kombat then you'll likely get enough enjoyment out of this version of Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 to justify the purchase, but if you're looking for a comparable fighting experience to the iOS version of Street Fighter IV then you may want to hold off and see how this game evolves over time.

    Considering the quality/price ratio of some of the real masterpieces available on the App Store, Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 will truly satisfy only real fans of the franchise, leaving the rest somewhat disappointed.

    Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 isn't a completely faithful adaption of the arcade classic, though much of what made the game fun back in 1995 is still fun today, if dampened by the poor control setup.

    Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 could be an interesting mobile episode while waiting for the new Next Gen version; however, the bad control system makes this experience like a nightmare.

    I give credit to this game's developers for working in the cool new visuals and features that they managed to fit in, but for a $7 "remake" of a 15-year-old game, the bar was too high UMK3 to reach.

    Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 possesses appealing visuals that give it the swagger of a prize fighter, but the botched controls and anaemic fighter roster expose the game underneath as a featherweight with a glass jaw.

    Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 is just not much fun. The personality of this particular entry has been stripped away by redoing all of the visual elements.

    It doesn't feel quite 'finished' and the sheer frustration of trying to work with the controls precludes any real chance of having fun.
