Freeware formula in Urban Crime is the greatest problem. The game is pretty fun and entertaining but this brings too many limitations.

A freemium approach to a GTA style open world crime game. Bad controls and pay wall barriers harm the experience.
  3. Feb 3, 2012
Born as a spin-off for the already lackluster Gangstar: Miami Vindication, Urban Crime suffers from the well-known limits of the freemium approach, with very short missions and mediocre graphics.

With poor controls and poor graphics I would be surprised if gamers kept this on their IOS device for more than a few hours, let alone pay to get in-game items.

This freemium entry to the open-world crime game market on the App Store feels uninspired, unpolished, and mostly forgettable.
  6. Jan 21, 2012
In short bursts Urban Crime can be enjoyable. However, the problems raised throughout this review means that any fun had is often negated before too long.
  7. Jan 17, 2012
With its complete lack of narrative, boring mission structure, antiquated visuals, spotty controls and monotonous gameplay, I don't know who would want to play this, much less eventually spend money within it.

Urban Crime is the worst side of the freemium formula requiring money even for stealing cars. The terrible pop-up effect and a fluidity that often is embarrassing, complete one of the worst GTA clones on the App Store.
