Vampire Rush successfully mixes two great genres to help define its own category.
  2. May 9, 2011
With strong visuals and a tight touch, Vampire Rush is a successful marriage of the tower defence and hack and slash genres.
  3. May 11, 2011
Purchasing this title will provide many hours of frantically defensive fun, as long as you can tolerate a little frustration.

With a few tweaks, Vampire Rush could easily be the best action tower defense game in the App Store. As it stands now, it's still a solid and enjoyable first effort that's worth checking out, just be prepared to deal with more than a few frustrating moments.

Vampire Rush doesn't overhaul the tower defense genre, but it's worth a purchase if you're still not bored with tower defense or digital analog stick controls.
  6. May 12, 2011
Vampire Rush is great to bash out some spare time, but it's far too easy to find yourself at the short end of a pointy stick if you make a simple mistake.
  7. May 16, 2011
If you however are versed in any of the genres you will think it is a shallow game that fails the genre you know the best. To me it manages to fail in both, but still it can be quite fun in short spurts.
