In the opening movie, an adventure story unfolds, giving you backstory for both the game and the problem solving. An excerpt: Mysterious lights flash through the sky. Suddenly an object falls through the window at the Daily Smarm, a local newspaper looking for a scoop on the latest UFO sighting. The object looks suspiciously like an iPod or iPhone, but the alien is sending you messages with it. Your challenge: Catch up to the alien, get the scoop needed for The Daily Smarm, get your boss off your back, and become the vecterrific hero? Navigate your way through the area and make the vectors you need to find the alien ship. The right direction, the right length, and the right sum and you win!Students like: Engaging game play, tongue-in-cheek humor (BTW, you will learn vectors)With Vector Tracker, beating the game and learning go hand in hand.
