Easy to pick up, challenging to master - Wordit is a fun word game where you form words by placing tiles on a 6-by-6 board. Tiles are given to you in random order, so think about where you want to place that vowel - should you go for that long word, or settle for more short words?
Supports choice of TWL and SOWPODS word lists.
Frequently Asked Questions:
How are scores determined?
The point value of the tiles will be added up for each new word you spell on the column and row. You get credit for words that are contained within other words as well - so by forming the word "PLOW," you'll also be credited for "LOW" and "OW" as well. Use this to your advantage!
How many points do I get for spelling a six-letter word?
You'll get the number of points the word is worth, plus 30 bonus points. Six-letter words are a high-risk, high-reward strategy.
Do you have a scoreboard where I can check my scores?
Yes, we use OpenFeint for high scores. You can access OpenFeint for high scores, chat, and more at any time by tapping the Menu button at the top right.
How are the points for letters assigned?
They are the same as the English version of Scrabble.
How do you determine which letters show up next?
They're randomly picked each game from a pool of letters. Their distribution is the same as the English version of Scrabble.
