Start with the word 'dog', then turn it into the word 'cat' by changing one letter at a time and going through only real words: dog, dot, cot, cat. Make sense? Now how about changing 'dust' to 'gold'?
Wordward is based on a popular Victorian parlor game in which players pick two words and compete to find the shortest word path which links them together. In order to succeed at it, you will need to summon your best word-wrangling skills, and be prepared to use them in an entirely new way. It is challenging enough to keep you playing, and fun enough that you won’t mind too much. As well as being free of cost, it is also ad-free; the payment we're hoping for is the occasional nice review.
Features of Wordward include:
* Easy-to-use word-chooser interface
* Increasing levels of difficulty, from straightforward to mind-bending
* Three different dictionaries to choose among, from small to very large
* Practice and game modes
